id say the blaster cuz they can be faster than the 300ex with the rite mods........the only thing is is the frontc stock suspension isnt that great but other than that i love mine

GO WITH A 300EX... WHO NEEDS MOD'S.. MOST PEOPLE ARE RIDING IN THE WOODS.. WHERE YOU MIGHT SEE 3RD GEAR. RIDE SAND AND FEEL THE SPEED...

Just get some new shocks for the blaster and some wheel spacers then a pipe jet and k&n with a bigger carb and there is not a 300 that can touch you. Well maybe there is but that blaster would be pretty nice. A lot better than a 300 with the same amount of mods.

my 250x eats balsters with those mods....300ex all the way

alot of it depends on the rider when comparing the 2 quads but id take the 300 my 250 x beat my buddies blaster wit no problems and he had the same mods as me

300ex... i would say its easier to maintain and more durable then the blaster plus theres just as many aftermarket **** for the 300ex as there is for a blaster...

if you are going to race mx the 300 is better because you cane bore it out to 330 and the blaster hase to have the same stoke bore because the class they would run in would be the 0-200 2 stroke and 0-350 4 stroke but if you just alot of fun get the blaster.

i ride both with my 300ex.mx and trail/xc and i love it.i dont think i would ever buy another blaster ever again.300ex's r more versityle when it comes down to the point.

i would go with a baster, mine eats 400's especially the 400ex....

and yes i have tested with both of my frineds that have 400ex's, i had soe toruble beating the z400, but i got it 3 out of the 5 times...

hell and if u modded the blaster up with all the mods made for and did the same for the 300ex the blaster would be able to beat stock shees the 300ex would prolly beat 400ex i also like powerband over torque so i say blaster

do you have any engine mods?? if not than i would say your lieing out of your ***... Ive ridden many blasters and there not fast at all. Even with a pipe, 240 kit, etc.

The Blaster...cheaper and mod to mod there both equal...cant go wrong with both but id take the blaster over the two

I would go with the 300ex for reliability, because i've had mine for 4 years and havn't had to rebuild it. If that was a blaster then it would have been rebuilt about 2-3 times already.
