Who's going???

I've waited weeks to post this thread!!!!!!!!! Now were finally here 2 weeks till the Penton... And I'm actually gonna go!!

Me and 2 friends will make the trip... I'll run Open A, Mark will run stock class and Chuck will run the old guy C class!!

me and derno were talking about it, but after the ***** kicking we got at FOM, we're not sure we want to drive 6 hrs to get wore out after 1 lap. plus i need parts!!! that race was rough on everyones bike from the looks of it.

Ah, come on. You can't compare a GNCC to FOM. LOL. Everytime I raced there I had to replace a shock and swingarm.

I will be there racing too. Not sure what class I am going to be running yet. I may be switching to the Afternoon Vet class.

My Son will be there too running the Kids class in the AM for the first time on his LT80.

think i took on a little too much water. i was glad tho, i was having a horrible day before that, had 3 dismounts before i broke down

Bummer on the dismounts, hope you didn't get banged up.

I must be getting close on my suspension cuz I didn't think the track was that rough.

I passed everyone in our class but Steven, but Big Bad Beny Turned it up a notch in the last mile. We hit it hard but he prevailed.

Can't wait to set up my rear shock with the new main spring. Thanks Laz!

That would be due to the CPR (County Park Racing) custom designed front end!

I'll be at the Penton in the C 35+ class.

We'll be there. I run 35+C and my buddy runs senior. That way we can pit for each other. There sure are some fast riders in those "C" classes

. As big as those classes are, I would think they could break up the age groups into B & C classes. Either way I have a blast

Its monday. sitin here in my office waiting for the day to be over so it can be closer to race time!!

No its not my first race but it feels like it..... I told the wife i was taking the year off to save some $ and spend some time with the kids...............well the wife and kids are leaving to visit family in TX and will be gone for a few weeks!!!

..........so I'm off to Ohio!

Should be fun, I'm leavin the Allentown area of Pa. late thursday/early friday.....so we'll be at the track friday mid day!! see ya'll there!

Not that I could get on that trailer in the AM either.... I tried a few years ago on an EX and got real close but, I suck now..

to all running the sport class, have no fear, brad couldent keep the blaster together for 2 hours if his life depended on it.

Good luck to everyone. I can't wait to see the pictures from the race and all the other activities. I saw where they are having a good old fashioned tug of war contests, Bikers against the Quads. How funny! I wish I could see that.

it was a lil muddy.....last in C35+

congrats to all that finished! That was my worst rece EVER! It took me 50 minutes to complete one lap....after that, I quit and put it in the trailer. I have never quit a race, but I was so wore out and frustrated after getting behind everyone and trying to get unstuck, I couldn't do another lap!
I was last off the line(don't give 450R any gas before it starts, DUMMY) but was about mid pack by the woods....got stuck 1st time about 1 mile in, picking a bad line around a stuck rider

, got passed by entire class. Got unstuck, passed a few back and went around half the class on the next hillclimb

. Got stuck second time trying to go around a stuck rider instead of waiting

, got wedged between 3 trees, ALL classes passed me. I was unable to physically move quad back to the track. I was able to help alot of riders that were stuck get going again and best of all, I was able to help Traci find a way around a large line of stuck riders. I just happen to see her in the line, waived her over and started moving stuff out of the way and bending little trees over enough for her to get through. It is a good feeling helping those top riders out. Finally, 3 big guys came out of nowhere and helped me get out. I was completely drained and all I could think of was getting back to the trailer. See everybody at WISP!....unless rain is in the forecast.
