How Fast is a Z400 stock, ( top speed) how bout alba edtion or alba edition with stage one or two motor upgrades cause im thinking about getting a Z but i dont know if i will get a alba edition or or not.

As he was saying, keep in mind that gearing changes everything as it concerns top speed.

with my stock and a GPS i got up to 64 mph going up a little up hill grade. Same gearing same tires as stock.

i think around 70 is about right. mine wont do near that with the 13t front sproket on it and well me on it. 190lbs aint makin it go any faster

With my current setup top speed is 85mph (gps confirmed) with my big fat 220lb butt on it.

OK top speed for a z/kfx is 68.5 mph...i just installed a speedometer on mine and topped it out wide open for about a 1/2 mile stretch of flat road.

i was running along side of my uncle on his outlander 800 w/ speedometer and we were running 72 and mine is a 03' kfx bone stock but not for long?

My z did 68 next to my sisters car on a flat road.... stock gearing mods were... hmf slip, jetted, no air box lid...

I couldn't answer this.....the type of riding I do I think I've only been in fifth gear 2 or 3 times....

But everyone says about 70 m.p.h, give or take for rider weight and terrain.

next week i'll get all my stuff in.. i will answer it once and for all with my trail tech cpu.. i'll put that on first and see what stock is, then what it is with the cdi and everything else
