I found this kit on Ebay that allows you to put 400EX or 450R shocks on a 250EX. I thought it looked pretty cool.

it would be worse to use it for MX than anything else! I wouldnt use it for anything..There have been alot of post on these things...

there is a good thread in the suspension forum about them i think the conclusion was they wernt good and created bump steer cause the tie rods and the a-arms arent the same angle

this has been posted MANY times and everyone i have talked to agrees it is TOTAL CRAP.

a 250ex is not ment to be that wide, the arms and stuff and not durable at all and probablle couldnt handle all that stress from that width.

if you want something that wide buy a 400 dude

Dont even think about buyin that if your gonna race mx. The only thing that would really be safe for is flat track or TT racin. Or if its your pit bike.

For TT, i would see that functional, but not for MX or any jumping conditions.

If you take a good look at it, the ball joints are on a negative bend, imagine sitting on it and a small bump will cause it to bind.

Waste of money.

theres a web site that sells those and they say they have tested them on mx track and those you can get in 4.5 inches wider than stockso its not that much wider i think it would be better cause you can put 400ex shocks on it

dude its a 250ex do it race if u screw it up redo ur whole front susp my frend breaks his all the time n he aint guna get a new ex for a year so do it n screw it

dont buy it! i can tell u you first hand that is has alot of bumpsteer and it twisted my frame. broke a tie-rod and the front wheel got turned sideways and twisted my whole front end.

i say go for it ! and the "Tard" that said the arms can't handle the stress!!! there is no added stress on the arms cause its the frame you are widening! its a 250ex its not like he'll be slammin 40 footers..

good buy for a 250ex!!!

It is very good . awsome power and better throutle response. Although i kinda wish i had a curtis sparks (didnt have on for the 250ex when i was looking for a pipe). But it is still a very good pipe

i got the kit for my 300ex havent tried it yet but from the sounds of it i dont think i will and i will try and sell it and get my money back... but i havent really started jumping yet i only do like 4 or 5 footers right now and i ride the trails and pits so should i keep it on or just give up and say i waisted 250$
