I hoping to do the exhaust cam swap in my hybrid, and I'm wondering where the cheapest place to find the OEM cam would be. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

I'm looking for the YZ450 dirtbike exhaust cam. Don't know if the ATV and dirtbike cams are the same or not.
It's going in my YZ426 hybrid.

I called Bob at Magnolia Tractor. Cam should be here in 2 or 3 days. One more question, should most dealers have the shims in stock, or are they special order?

call scott at wickedmotorsportsua.com his number is 775-910-9188 he sells complete shim kits for CHEAP!!
Posted by: WKY400EX
Do you know what kind of price wickedmotorsportsusa.com sells the shim kits for? Is it cheaper than $75?
Posted by: Lokiyfz450
Again I would call Bob @ magnolia tractor I believe it's $80.00 shipped.

Do I need the shim kit, or can I just buy shims individually?
Posted by: Lokiyfz450
Well you can but getting the right shims might be tough.
Because the gap needs to be measured with a shim in and the cam in then +/- the right amount = the right shim. It's a long process but after you get the right one's you don't have to adjust the valves as often.
