Any ideas on mounting a 250r hood on a 300ex ! ive seen it b.4 but just wondering how its done!

ltl666devil,

When you put that hood on there, did you cut off the tabs on the top of the hood by the handlebars? b/c everything looks goon on my hood until I make it up close to the handlebars then it's too wide ya know? You grind it to fit the whole way up or something?

i cut a little bit off the top so it would bend better. also u can heat it up a little to bend it over the plastics so it fits better

Ok, b/c I bought a heat gun offa ebay for this reason. but did you cut the tabs clear off of the hood? I can't really tell in your pics, mine looks a good bit different at the top by the HB's.....

why are all these 300's kickstart???

im lost or are they hybrids with the 350X motor or something along those lines?

Mine is a 250x and its a kickstart and lt666devil has a 350x motor in his 250x frame. The 250x and the 300ex are basically the same thing, but the 300ex has electric start and some other small differences.

4trax250x81, thanks man! that pic shows it better. All these bikes look effin pimp. I hope mine looks ok with stock A arms and tires. I was going to buy RazrII's but I had to buy plastics first....but couple of weeks they'll be on there and I'll get a pic or two.
