400ex rear shock on a z400??

Hey guys,

I was wondering if a rear shock from a 400ex would bolt up to a z400's mount section? I would be using a +1.25 swingarm and an Elka linkage. If the swingarm was +1.25 and Long travel on the 400ex would it still work? Has anyone ever tried this?? thanks
