i am currently rebuilding my 440 and was wondering if anyone removed the top head bolt. i am currently putting it together, not taking it apart

yuppers/ what kit are you going with?? I currently have the Duncan,it comes with there own bolts with the kit.

I have the CT Racing Kit. I had to replace the head gasket and now I'm going to put her back together. Thanks!

I thought I might have to do that myself, but it turned out to be something else simpler, thank goodness!! So far so good!

What size should I go with? It looks like all the studs are different sizes in the manual? Any suggestions?

My HD stud kit is from East Coast ATV but I know GT Thunder sells a killer set as well which I believe is cheaper so I would check with them first. All the studs are different sizes, and youll get all 4 when you order a kit so dont worry about that...
