i was just wonderin what the stock heat shield is made of and if its polishable...and if the stock front motor mounts are polishable too....i already polished my timming plugs they looked damn good imo....now i want to do a few more parts like maybe the oil filter cover, starter cover, and the other 2 things mentioned above....
oh and btw this is why i cant ride

u can polish your front motor mounts,they are alumium,polish your brake lever,oil tank,rims,etc

still has that brushed alu. look to it....but shiney as well thats how i like it.....but the timming plugs look great i did them with a dremel

i polished the motor mounts, pipe, and nerfs on my 400.....instead of polishing the heatshield and oil filter cap i painted them to match the frame.....also painted the throttle cover and brake rezzie cover instead of polishing. motor mounts turn out really nice. i never sanded mine down before polishing and they turned out better then throttle covers ive seen done that were sanded first.....hes an idea of some stuff you could do.

what you guys think of my timming plugs....i think they look damnnn good....tomorrow im goin to buy me a dremel so i can do smaller parts...n ive already got a big buffing wheel
