Need help fast on Blaster!!!!

Just bought a used Yamaha Blaster 2001. I just got it home and am looking it over planning to go riding in a couple of hours. This is the first Blaster I have had in 10 years. My question is on the filler hole on the right side of the motor. What goes in here?? Oil or Gear lube??? I am not sure but it appears to be low and I don't want to run the risk of tearing it up. Please help me out. What type of fluid and how much do I fill it with??? Thanks

u can run 10 w40 in it thats what i use in mine or 75w gear saver tansmission oil.

go with 10w-30 in there, not 40... but if its all you have it'l do.
