Help Kill switch doesnt work???

well i striped the bike down and put in my new steering stem and now i put it back together the kill switch doesnt work. i dont know why i plugged everything back in i was supposed too. anyone know where the plug for the kill switch is or why it isnt workin??

its a stock kill switch, i took the plastic off and everything and when i put everything back together the kill switch doesnt work anymore

ohh, i thought u ment like u bought a kill switch so if u fell of the bike would stop

I bet I know whats wrong. Check the wires to the key switch. The two greens are easy to mix up, one is light green, the other medium green. Black goes to black. You can't mess up the handle bar kill/headlight switch connectors. It has two multi-connectors and they only will fit the proper matching connector.

yup, double check the two green wires under the front fender.. very easy to mix up..

when I got mine backwards the key switch wouldn't shut the motor off, and the neutral light stayed on all the time

Well since my dog has ate the wiring on the 416 like 13 times now,,yes 13 times,,I've almost become an expert at the wiring of a 400ex,,you've got some wires crossed up in the front like Leo and Sgaexer mentioned..
