when you guys check your 300ex's oil do you have to screw the dipsick in or just set it in the hole?? thanks Jeremy

manual says just set it in the hole.

I might just be babling cause I am getting quite tired lol but another thing to look at is to see if there is an o-ring on the stick when you replace it. If its gone, it may come out and leave hot oil all over your leg. I ended up replacing it with a co2 tank o-ring for my friends 300. Works quite well if yours is gone.

the drain plug is a dip in u just screw it out clean it off then set it back in kinda nice actually i liked it !
