What are 95 and 96 model 300ex's going for in your area??? I've got 2 spotted here for $1500 each and was wondering if this is a good deal. It seems a little high to me.

As long as they're not beat to death $1500 isn't a bad price. I just saw a 88 250x going for $2000 around here. It was in MINT condition. Still bone stock down to the tires, and they still had lots of life in them.

does anyone make a shield where if the chain breaks it will not crack the engine casing? One of these bikes has a cracked case from the chain but it is not leaking, the other one which I am seriously considering is fine.

well i bought my 99 and them mods listed in my sig for $2300 id say $1500 is prolly pretty good
