450R Rear shock Fits!!

The guy I ride with installed a 450R rear shock on his 2002 400ex a few months ago. He has been riding it for months now and hasn't had any problems. I'll try and get some pics and show you guys.

I heard they had fit but were a little too short, plus its not valved for the 400ex geometry.

Hmmm... maybe it is a fluke, but this bike rides really well with the front and rear 450 shocks.

Just because somethinng fits doesnt mean its proper. 450r shocks are for 450rs, not 400ex's

It's no fluke, they will fit, its just that they aren't valved properly or set up for the 400ex geometry.

Well, my friend and I are both over 6 feet tall and both of us weigh over 200lbs. In my opinion, it is those weak old out of date stock shocks that aren't correct for the 400ex.
