on a 2005 honda 450r is there a certain oil i can use from an auto parts store instead of the gn4 oil is there somthing equal to it thank you

The Mobil 1 high performance is what we use you can get it by the gallon at Walmart pretty cheap. You don't need synthetic if you change it regularly about every 20 hours or less.

Yeah DONT use automotive synthetic oil, only synthetic designed for wet clutch use is good. As far as something equal to GN4, probably any non-synthetic oil of your choice will work fine. On your 450R you can use automotive synthetic oil for your engine side however, but just make sure you use non-synthetic or a wet clutch synthetic on your clutch side.
