how do i tighten the chain on my 400????

Loose the allen wrench bolts at the end of your swingarm in the back, take a very large screwdriver or something flat in that nature & put in the slots in the bearing carrier beside the chain & spin it backwards toward you to tighten it. Should have about 1/2 inch or so of slack while sitting on it. Then tighten bolts back up. GL
