that quad is nice

Looks very nice… can you give us a little info on some of the work you have done to it? I’m not asking for any secrets but I just bought my stepson a mini and I’m trying to as many reviews on parts as possible before we start buying anything.

Once again very nice mini… Wade

THanks. Well let's see it has +3 a-arms,+4 durablue axle,Elka shocks,Gibson steering stabilizer,Hetricks B-52 cylinder and piston, Hetricks clutch mods,28mm carb, uni filter,Hetricks pipe,AC nerfbars, powermadd handguards, vortex handlebars, pro design kill switch,Chain roller,RK chain,20th front sprocket. ummm thats all that I can think of right now. What kind of quad did you get your stepson? Call Hetricks and talk with Michelle she will hook you up.

Very nice!

About How much $$$ do you have invested?

I'm looking to get one for my Son, I seen QuadJUnkies pics asked some Qs, and came up with this one KASEA 90,, just like to know about how much $$$ I will be spending to keep it decent.

Thanks in advance for any other comments too.

I would say roughly $3000 not including the price of the quad.

Thanks for repling back.

With all that $$$ spent is it a screamer?? or would like to put more $$ into it, hows the performance??

Oh it's a screamer. It flat hauls ***. If I could do anything else to it I think I would upgrade to the dual a-arms set-up but as far as motor it has plenty of power.

I traded Pappy our Honda for this one. It was all stock except for the wheels and tires when I got it.

Atvmxrider, how old is your son?My boy is 6 and he has trouble reaching the thumb throttle. His hand cramps up after riding a while.I was wondering what you(or anyone else here) has done to make the thumb throttle work a little better for small hands.
I have rotated the throttle assembly upwards slightly and put on smaller diameter grips but it still seems like there should be something else that would work better.

He just turned 11. His quad has a 28mm carb on it and the pull is super easy so he doesn't really have a problem with it.

Remove the slide from the carb and cut 3 coils off of the spring. You can also rmove the oil injection and that will ease the tension as well. I have seen a part called a throttle rocker I belive and it extend sthe leverage of the throttle lever making it easier to push.....about 15 bucks and some kids like them others don't good luck

BTW if you need any more detail on this send me a PM

Eric

We had the same problem w/ our lil guy & his thumb throttle on his LEM so we got one thtat looks like a mini clutch lever it's off a LEM Cayman if you can find one!! they can either pull it towards them or push it i do believe!!

Posted by: QuadJunkies

thumb thoddle works fine for my Son, but the front brake he has alot of issue grabbing! he has to reach too far out and the squeeze makes him almost have to take his whole hand off the grip!

Thanks,

Chuck

No that was the 1st thing I took off. I mix my gas now.

I know this thread has veered slightly off of it's original course so I wont ask anyone to post it here if they don't want to but where could I find out exactly what is involved in removing the oil injection system and mixing it myself?
