Rear Axle Brand Suggestions??

I just threw on some Herrmann racing +2/+1 a-arms and they pushed the front tires out about an inch wider than the rear axle. What brands of aftermarket axles are worth buying? I don't want to spend a fortune, but want something that's as durable or better than stock. My OE stock 88 axle is perfect, just too short now

cheepest route would be to grab sum spacers. if u want an axle get either a lonestar or a durablue race or x-33 axle. dont get the durablue heavy duty though i hear they bend easy. my durablue race axle has dun me fine over the years.

Yeah, I've been thinking about spacers....just seemed cheesy, but I'm sure they work fine.

yeah and the stock axle does good, i had 2 3" spacers 1 on eech side and never bent the stock axle. the worst thing about them is they add a ton of power robbing spinning mass to the axle.

Rob... what ever you do...DONT get wheel spacers,... been there Much more of a PITA than they're worth!(but if you do go w/ them, save your hubs ... I got some already drilled out, but do your best to steer clear of them)

RPM or LSR are decent axles(altho I do see more bent LSR's than RPM's) if you shop around, you can find them new for about $330(LSR), or used for about 1/2 that

I like the idea of an 11lb axle w/ the X33, but not to hip on the pin-drive action, altho I did hear they upgraded and had less probs

Cool....thanks for the suggestions guys. I did some measurements and spacers are a minimum of +3 total, which is too much to even fit on my trailer! I would rather just see a +2 total to match the front better. I'll check into the RPM. The Durablue X33 w/ billet hubs is a good buy! But I agree about the pin drive.

the pin drive works good as long as you KEEP IT TIGHT!!

i had some spacers and they worked fine they were G force. but i screwed up my axle so a durablue axle is on the way
