the trophy presentation was during the morning amateur race and only about 2 kids from each class were present. hopefully in sc there will be a bigger turnout.

Yes this was a real bummer to me. I didn't know they were gonna do this. We went over to see what they were gonna do, and it started to rain. Michael went back to camp. I hung around to get his plaque. Then they started calling all the youth up on stage. Michael finished 3rd in the 70cc production class at 7 yrs old. He wasn't even around to go up on the podium. I was so proud of him. He finished 3rd out of all those much bigger boys. He just turned 7 and finished 32 out of 65 riders.

no problem bud, i truly enjoy shooting pics of the kids. one kid ran a little off course after being scored, and before anyone could help him out came a small hand, fingers not even filling the gloves, and he reached down and put it reverse and got himself out. i almost teared up

just wanted to say congrats to Michael, sorry we didn't get to meet you, maybe in SC. I thought it was great to watch all the little guys run. Tell Michael to keep up the good work, see you in a week.
