I know this has been posted 5,000,000 times.. But what about the Mobile1 Red Cap 10W-40?? The bottle with the big 5000 on the front... It's not synthetic.. Would it be good?

Nope the new red cap has moly in it.

It doesnt matter if the oil is a synthetic or not. It just cant have moly in it. I use Rotella T synthetic 5w-40 just fine. It has no moly in it. None of the Rotella products have moly in them.

I had the privalige of seeing a VOA(Virgin Oil Analysis) for Mobil 1's motorcycle oil. This stuff is supposed to be made for wet clutch systems and motorcycles only. Guess what. It has moly in it.

After viewing several other VOA's and reading about the oils I decided to go with the Rotella T. No moly in it and its a very good product.
