Not real sure about the 450 but the 400s were pressed on, so therefore had to be pressed off. I'd be surprised if Honda would have changed that.

Out of curiosity why do you want it off?

because I took the +4 axle off my 400 and put it on my 450 and im puting the stock 450 axle in my 400 but u have to change out the sprocket hubs to do so.

So, what you're say is, I can put my RPM 400ex axle on my 450R??

I heard it wouldn't work!

It takes a massive amount of pressure to remove the hub,, people that have done it swear to never do it again.. thats why Honda won't sell the hub seperately. Z,

Yes u can i but my 400 axle on my 450. the sprocket hubs a slightly different but it works on the 450 no problem.
