Does anyone have a 400 EX the keeps up with or beats the new 450 Yamaha/cRaptors? If so, what mods do you have? Bore Kit? Etc

i dont think your gonna find much that keeps up with a 450. im just relying on rider ability this yuear with my 02 400 ex. i got some mods and im getting a few front end pretty soon. but at a lot of tracks as long as your a good rider you can beat them.

You sound like you have a nice bike, I have most of the same mods as you do on my '02. I am going to get a hot cam and the 416 bore kit later this year. I am going to remove the choke. I heard that it gives you better response and some horsepower. Let me know if you want the site to find the instructions.
