when ever I ride my 250r it will sometimes bogg down and shut off. when it dies the throttle cable will stay stuck halfway open.
some other times the throttle will get stuck half way open and just rev up to the moon.
I know that I was missing a exhaust spring and that was making the exhaust smoke bad too.

Do any of you know whats going on?

i had that same problem too, the throttle wouldstick farther and farther open, and sometimes shut down

I just took the carb apart and cleaned it all up,a nd lubed tha cable. I think this might also have to have to do with the engine gettin hot. i was runnin thru deeper snow and wasnt gettin the airflow thru the radiator, so it was gettin hot on me.
