going to my first GNCC race this weekend in North Carolina....what do they check at inspection....or do they have inspection?

they check for kill switch functionality and that you have registered and placed your numbers on your helmet and quad correctly. They may also check for exhaust noise that exceeds a certain db limit. I'm not sure what the level is but you have to be pretty darn loud to fail it. If you fail, you have to pay to get your pipe packed and then you can race(it was like this last year anyway). Check the GNCCracing.com web site they have all the info. for inspections, classes and a brief description on what each race is like. My suggestions: Bring the biggest baddest mud tires you can find and prepare yourself and your quad to be packed with mud from beginning to end. Put your air box lid on, looks like there will be some deep water. Have plenty of goggles and gloves and get some of those big elephant ear things that you wrap around your levers. They help alot!
