i have four 250r's and the one i have for drag racing pumps out over a 100hp !wow! my other r's are specificly built for mx i owe ove 40000 dollars for my quads and thier partsbut lets see a 450 pump out more than 100 horsiesi am curently getting a small tubo instaled and mounted on one of my mx quads want a turbo 15 more horsies garanteed contact me i will post pics of my quads soon as i get my digital camera working

How well do the turbo's work on two-strokes? Because if it only gains 15HP how well can it be?

15hp out of a small turbo on a small single cylinder engine is quite a bit dude. theres a dude here in town getting over 151hp out of a sabertooth 250R with a turbo.

The stock sabertooth has around 100HP. So thats an extra 51HP with turbo. Sure 15HP may be a lot for a small single cylinder engine, but IMO 15HP is not worth putting a turbo and intercooler on for the money.

turbos work great on two stroke you do have to put heavy duty heaadgaskets in but 15 horsies is amost half of the stock power think if you have 30 horsies you will have 45 that more than alot of modded banshee but your doing it with a stock motor

How much does this turbo set-up run, and what are its best applications, just drag? or can it be used for MX? Just a thought.

i race mx and have put the tubo kit in it i told yall bout iif theyre not as expensive as you thing i get them from a forieng place for less than half for the ones u see you can ubgrade and run 9 psi in you motor but you will have to build you motor a little then you will be gaining close to 45 horsepower i know its unbealivable but stage 1 does not require much ,money and it runs 3 psi at full throttle or max rpms
