I'm considering buying a 93 TRX 300EX Sport for $750. Its in relatively good shape, and runs good. I'll primarily use it for farm and utility work, but will also explore up and down some railroad tracks near home with it.

Is $750 a good deal or not? I realize that if there's hidden problems I'd be in trouble, is there anything I should look for in a quad this old? I'd be buying it from an honest friend, but he only bought it himself 3-4 months ago (he just ruptured a disc in his back, which is why he's selling it).

if the guad runs good $750 is a pretty good deal but you never know what might be wrong with it. i would take it to the dealership after i bought it and have them tune it up for like $100 it would be worth it to know that it wont fall apart when you ride it

ya id say thats good and if it runs fine i would defentally do it and i would still take it to a dealer ship to have her checked out and all that.
