i recently purchased a 99 300ex which i got no manual with. what are my routine maintenance procedures & intervals? thanks!!!!

clean the air filter and change the oil at least every two rides if your hard on it at all. when your doing that, check the rear axle bearings, tierod ends and ball joints for play. lube your cables while your at it.

2 rides?? Way too often. Unless you are riding all day long. the oil can be effective for much longer. come on, theres no way in hell you need to change your oil that often.

im still trying to get a manual for mine AND I USUALLY CHANGE THE 250'S oil start of fall/start of spring ill be doing the same with the threehundy

Woah ive never heard of anyone changing there oil that often i think thats a little to extreme, would u even need to clean your air filter that often?

i change my oil ever couple of races. u only need to clean it that often if u run with the airbox lid off. i clean mine whenever i change the oil.i run with no airlid.

well, geuss i should clarify, i race and abuse my quad much more than a trail rider. i wouldnt dare change my oil once a year, even if i wasnt hard on it

i change my oil every 3 times i go riding and i clean my air filter everytime i go riding. i also ride with no air box lid
