will 450r hoods fit on maire(sp?) plastics for a 300ex/250x

i dont know about that one but ive heard of people using a 250r hood.

i just ordered a 250r hood for my 250x maier plastics, should work good. The 450r hood almost looks to wide but with the right cutting it could fit but the 250r hood would probably look better IMO.
