What brand do you guys suggest for a jet kit for a '01 250ex?
It is stock with a K&N filter and I will probably be getting a pipe in the near future. I was looking at both K&N and Dynojet kits and they look like the same thing and are priced about the same.
Thanks

K&N. but thats just a personal opinion

If the jets are the same as a 300ex I have a full Dyna Jet kit I would sell for $30 shipped

Dynojet lists a different part number for the 250 and 300's, but thanks for the offer.

Now I'm confused, 3 replies with three different suggestions.
Anybody else?
Thanks

my personal opinion, is just use normal jets, way less than a jet kit. jets are 2.50 a peice, why spend 30 bucks

Actually Bradley is right on this one, i only used ONE jet out of that $54 jet kit!!! Just get a couple bigger steps up & go from there, you can by a different needle also good luck

I never thought of that. I know I need a number for the jet, but what do you ask for when ordering a different needle?

I think I ment pilot jet instead of needle go one size bigger than stock same w/ the main jets, you may then need to ADJUST your needle!! As for what to ask for, find out the stock sizes & go from there!! Hope this helps
