this quad looks to me like a tri-z 250 3 wheeler frame that has been converted to a four wheeler with yz 250 bike motor

Posted by: Hon300ex

its got a yamaha yz 250 engine... idk what kind of frame but have fun with it

Posted by: exrider360

mix betwen a blaster yz250 and a trike

Posted by: bradley300

its definatly a yamaha swingarm-but the only no link quad is a blaster, and that swingy is totally different that a blasters. the plastic is very odd, the front looks similar to a banshee, but the frame is different

Posted by: 250rtone

Thats a home made job for sure.....looks fun!

Posted by: Jersey450R

at first glance i thought it was a kawasaki tecate but then i saw the yamaha motoe. definitly tecate fenders.

Posted by: bradley300

the fenders are simar to a tecate, but thats not what they are

Posted by: SandAddict_pred

look again guys.. its a triz250 conversion of sorts..

Posted by: ESrider

It's definitely not the dirt bike motor, it has a forward kicker.

Posted by: raptorrider686

Get a tricked banshee or cannondale then tell me if your scared form its power and speed.

Posted by: Killer_Shee

This ones pretty simple-thats a 1986 Yamaha Tri-Z that has one of the good 'ole three to four wheel conversion kits. It has the same front end geometry of the old Suzuki LT's. Those old kits are actually pretty cool.

Posted by: ridin4life05

ya. ive never seen one of those before but i would have to guess its just aftermarket fenders and a quad frame with a yz250 dirtbike engine into it. not too sure though. sick quad man

just look how the frame follows the motor upwards..it was deffinantly a trike..

Posted by: TRXRacer1

There's no question about it, that's a Tri-Z convertion. Most likely an old astro quad kit. The motor in it is non-PV so it's a tri-Z motor too. If you wanted to, you can easily stuff a MX motor in have it kick forward, all you need is a tri-z case cover, they bolt right on to a few different years.

Posted by: TRXRacer1

To be exact it's an 86 Tri-Z so if you need to order any motor or swinger parts you know what to order it for.

Posted by: trxkruzoffman

its probly a hibred quad, it has a yz motorcycle ingen in the chassis

http://www.3wheeler.org/vb/images/smilies/doh.gifHello, McFly! That's not a YZ motor, I already told you kids what it is.

Posted by: Marshmello

id say blaster frame with a yz 250 engine

Posted by: theTman

LMAO, your right but it's useless. They don't understand and obviously the owner doesn't care because he never thanked anyone for telling him EXACTLY what it is, down to the year.

Posted by: raptorrider686

Never even seen one of those before. But it looks pretty quick to me. Just get a new seat and you'll be good as new.

its a tri-z 250 loads of peole done that coversion over here. go to www.ebay.co.uk and there is like a 100% that there will be atleast 1 of them conversions. there not all that great either. one ran with the blaster class and got its *** kicked.

Posted by: eric44

The plastic is off a kawasaki tecate4..... might possibly be the whole chassis with the yz motor in it.

Posted by: trxkruzoffman

it looks very similar to a tecate 250 from kawasaki, but it has a yamaha motor in it, im not sure man,

Posted by: TRXRacer1
