buddy of mine has 2004 90 predator, is their anyway of
bypassing cdi box seems it cuts off? would appreciate info!

Install a 2002 Scrambler 90 box.

Whats the diff between the 02 box and a 03 box???

You can run a kasea box on it but you will have to do some
re-wiring. Billy's way is much easier and he probably has one
he can sell ya.

the predator box has a built in rev limiter and the 02 scrambler dosent, taking the off jumper will help some but there is still a rev limiter with it off.

no I haven't taken jumper off, I was told it was 2 black wire,
which wires? and what do you do?

Its a silver metal strap that is held on by two small phillips head screws

One of of the Kids I race with just got a '05 Preditor 90.

Is the Mod the same?

Will the '02 scrambler cdi still work? Were can I get one?

Is there any other simple mods that help this thing out?

Are you guy's sure about the 02's not having a rev limit? I have both a 02 and 01 Scramblers and they seem to be limited. They both are no faster than my buddies 04 Pred. The rpms (appear) to max out at about the same.

My son has an 05 Pred 90. I got a new CDI box from Hetrick's with no rev limit but I had to put a new Pro Design kill switch on. It works great.

Was that post from Billy Holt of WRH? If so, then I guess just getting the 02 cdi is the best way to go. (plug and play)
