Here is my first air on the 400ex i just bought. I know its nothing big but i kept getting tweaked sideways lol.

here is the triple i cased once so i only doubled it. One side was rutted up pretty bad so you got a chance to tweak the bike

Hey man, you were talking about getting "tweaked" sideways all the time. Alot of times this has something to do with air pressure in the tires. If it's all not the same, then it will cause the bike to lean during the jump. I had this happen to me once and asked a friend of mine here who races and he said it was probably my air pressure. So I went and checked it and sure enough the side with lower air pressure was the side that leaned during the jump.
The jumps could also be mad crooked. Anyways man, just a tip to try and help you lose that tweak.

If you have the normal mods like a pipe, filter, and jetting, a piston and cam will make a BIG difference. You don't necessarily have to go with an 87mm (416cc); just a stock bore 11:1 piston and cam will be almost the same. You probably couldn't tell the difference. When you get it apart, have the cylinder measured to see if it is within service limits if you want to run a stock bore size piston; it will save you a little cash from the bore job. If it were me, I would make sure to do the cam at the same time. It's less hassle, and it will enhance the benefits of the piston a lot.
