just thought i would let everyone know the fuel mixture screw on my 05 400ex is not a flat head i talked to the honda dealer and they said that khein changed it, but they dont know what it is or what tool i need to adjust it with,they are going to get back in touch with me,yea right,lol!i dont have time for that so i took it all the way out and cut a groove in it with a dremel now i can use it as a flat head works great!!sorry about the thread being so long but i thougt you guys would like to know!

how are you supposed to turn it then if it doesn't have a groove in it from the factory?

i just used a small steel punch,aplied alot of pressure and made it turn a little at a time,of corse i had to take the carb off first!

i just bought a dyno jet ket for a 400ex and it had a tool for the 05 400ex's in it so i would check with dyno jet to see if you can buy the tool from them.

what kind of tool do you adjust it with? can you adjust it with your hand?
