Can you remove the parking brake and keep a functional clutch assembly or do you have to replace the whole thing. Is been so long sense I did this too the old 400EX I cant remember.

yes you can. but the stock perch will have a gap in it where the pk brake mecanism was. its perfectly fine though.

Thats what i did, works fine.. just vibrates around alittle bit.
