I was wondering what you guys used to polish your subframe?

I use Mothers polish. Didn't polish subframe, but polished front and rear bumpers and shifter. Looks like chrome.

You will have to bead blast the powdercoat of and then the various wet sanding up to 1500 grit and the I use 2 different polishing ruges.

work that engine next!

like this

bling!

that subframe looks good. i polished a swinger and removed the coating with an aircraft aluminum stripper. that stuff seemed to be more than just regular powder coating. maybe it wasnt but it was miserable to get off

waste charge, huh? what the h3ll is that? did they leave a "waste" pile or something? seriously what waste, from the metal?

Posted by: BLAZE1

Waste product from the chrome process. There are a lot of nasty chemicals involved and I am sure it is not easy or cheap to get rid of that stuff.
