i have a '02 400ex that i kinda regret buying because my original plan was to get a used cannibal from a guy off here... and i can't stand it anymore... i want to get the cannibal and get rid of the ex. I dought i will do it right now cuz i am in the middle of some.. other stuff... but i was wonderin around how much i could get a used c-dale for. thanks guys.

you can find most cannibals in the 2500-3500 range now.

i know where a brand new cannibal is for 3500.00 or a used one that needs a LITTLE motor work for 2000.00 let me know. i can do the motor work.

what kind of motor work are u talking about... and how much would it cost to fix do u think?... i will still have to sell my 400ex before i get one though...also what years are these if u know.... thanks!

it just needs a stage 8 i think, i can do that, anything else goes to HBR. but it sold i found out today.

Armoks how does your ATK450 compare to some of the other guys 468 ect?? Haydug told my bro he was more then impressed w/ your quad when he rode it at Glamis..

I rode Armoks' ATK and Jaybr's 468 at Glamis. I will have to say that even with the mapping not correct yet, the 468 definitely has the stock ATK beat. The acceleration is just unbelievable. However, that ATK is a far cry from a stock Cannondale which I was riding the whole weekend. Armoks has that baby tuned very nicely and the power was very good. He had the x440s map tweaked a little and it made that ATK scream. The 468 is just a monster though. The power is undeniable. <---I think thats a word.

I just picked up my HDC 468 Ultimate dale today, I'll give you a full report on how it compares with the stock 450!

I didn't get a chance to ride jay's but watching his pull away from his speed was amazing I don't think the ATK would have a chance against a set up 468 stroker motor.

Nice. I will just keep at 450cc. Out west the big engine builders will always have something faster w/ more cc. I like to race 450 to 450.. I think a WWE comp IV motor would be very very fast. Unforunately my motor came from a bike w/ titanium valves issues so I never got to get the full potential out of it.. The bike motors internal gearing for quads is aweful..

Not going to open a shop. I just like working on this stuff. I have flip flopped alot on the shop but just not going to happen. I don't want the overhead. Right now my garage is freaking full. 2 are mine, 1 is local guy and now my newest aquisition, which is what this thread reply was about.

I picked up an 03 cannibal from Missouri yesterday. Plans are to fix it if feasible (depends on failure) or part it out. It just so happens that I saw this thread and he is kinda local.

Right now, and for as far as I can see, its just a big hobby. I am not opening a shop or carrying parts and stuff. Just too much risk. And I like the other couple of fellas that are doing this for a living too much.
