I am sure this has been asked 1000 times but I need to change the oil in my 400ex and don't have an owners manual. I plan on using the honda gn4 oil and ride in weather from about 50-80 deg. What weight does the owners manual recommend.It is colder now but I rarely ride if it is below 50.

i believe it reccomends a 10w40...

The oil you plan on using is perfectly fine.
it's 10w-40

what do you think would be best for a stock 400ex in weather ranging from temp.s of around 30-65?

i ride in 50 to 80 degrees and i use silkolene pro 4 sx 15w-50
