PEP steering stablizer way to close to the radiator

Has anyone used the new PEP steering stablizer for the 450r.I put it on my bike and it is about a 1/4 from hiting the bottom of the radiator because of the nerf bars. After hiting some big jumps I could see where it had hit the radiator.What brand should I buy.

mine did the same thing but if your brackets are tight it shouldn't move.

Yea make sure they are tight.. mine has never hit??

I also did not like it being that close. So, I welded the bracket to the front bumper and installed it this way......

I have rode and raced it this way for a year with no problems. I was a little reluctant at first to do it this way because it appears to make it so vulnerable. But, I assure you, I have had some pretty good crash & burns and it is still good as new
