where is the oil level supposed to be on a 400ex

Between the upper and lower level marks on the dip stick. I prefer to keep it closer to the upper level.

yep, i keep mine right at the upper line too. remember, warm your engine up first and when checking the oil don't screw the dip stick in. just push it in and pull it out.
