i dont know, lol, we just got a foot of snow here yesterday... and i havent really been able to ride it... in fact.... i havent rode it since october. his old CDi was on the bench... and mine is finicky... so i just di da swap, and it seens to rev up and everything good..... but i cant tell yet, cuz like i said... we got a foot of snow and all this... and its in a shed in the middle of town... so i cant ride it there either.... lol. but yea, it revs... and it doesnt cut out or anything. im just worried about diff power curves and stuff from a 4 to a 2 stroke, and u say it could overheat?

Honda still sells the original CDI, get it and forget about mixing and matching.
