A group of us are planning a trip for St Joes on the weekend of April 8th. We'll be staying at the park campground for the weekend. Last time we were there we met up with a couple exriders and they showed us around the park...its a kickass place to ride and hopefully we can meet up with some more of ya down there

Are they still letting Quads on the track out there??????????? I know they aren't racing there anymore.

There are currently 2 MHSC harescrambles at St. Joe each year. The trails for the races are all on the outside of the perimiter, so you cant ride on them at normal times. However, there are tons of trails on the inside. $3 a day to ride, need helmet and flag.
Shoot me a e-mail before you come down, I live 5 min away. kglore@gmail.com, me and some other guys that race MHSC XC ride there for practice a lot. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I may try to make a trip down to Flat River that weekend if I can get off work. Hopefully I'll have a new quad then, and my dad will have his buggy ready.

Depending on the weather, myself and some buddies might be there as well.

excellent
....are there any decent bars/clubs in that area or are we going to have to go all the way to StL? We'll be down there the whole weekend so we'll need some nightly entertainment

Several good bars and resturants in Farmington. Farmington is 5 min south of Park Hills. Send me a e-mail kglore@gmail.com before you guys come down and I'll hook you up with the bars that are good. Looking forward to riding with you guys.

I currently live in Charleston IL at EIU right now, but home is Granite City. I couldn't tell you what kind of tracks they have Flat River, I've never been on any track in my life; I prefer the trails. I ride an 03 300ex right now but hope to sell it sometime soon so I can get a 400. I'll let you know if I'll be able to make it as soon as I know.

They dont have any tracks at flat river, at least that I know of I havent been there in a year but used to go about every other weekend. They have alot of sand and alot of woods riding. They have some jumps but not to many. Its a good time there and some of the trails they have are very rocky and tuff to ride so if you like to ride fast in the woods then you better bring your skills
