What is the best way to remove the crappy factory plug? I just received the new billet one from ThumperTalk.

just stab it with a small screw driver in the center then pull it out

It can be a pain............. not much room there to work with.

First remove seat
Then remove tank cover
Next remove the side panel( more room to work with)
Remove the bolt and copper washer.
Take a small screw driver and hammer and lightly punch the screw driver into the plug then pull out.
Oil the rubber on the new plug and push it in.
Clean the bolt and copper washer.
Clean the hole where the bolt goes.
Use some medium thread locker on the bolt and tighten up but do not over tighten!!!!!!

Thnks Mountaineer!! I will be doing this next weekend. Also I noticed that you are using a YZ kill switch as your start switch. How did you wire that up?
