I know this is a stupid question but how the hell do you get the back brake foot lever on a 400ex off of the frame??? I just can't figure it out and as you can see I dont' do much of my own work. That and does anyone know where to find online parts diagrams and what not for the 400ex

The rear brake foot lever is held in place with a cotter in in the rear. Once the cotter pin is out, removing the pedal is pretty easy. just work it in the hole, pulling on it at the same time and it should come right out, along with the bushings.
I would recommend getting the service manual from your local dealer or any number of links on this site.
