Can someone please post pics of where I need to Gusset it For mx? I cracked my 400ex frame twice in the footpegs area so I think I will gusset it there... but I did a search for the 450r and didnt found something interesting.

front shock mount area and really important is the upper frame rail where Honda joined the frame tubes.

yeah I saw some pics of frames breaking at the upper frame rail but I dont know how I should make the gusset there... I mean its a tube there is no angle to put one ??

Here's how JH Racing's welder/gussetter did my frame. Its suppose to be copied off the walsh kit, or very similiar too. My frame was broke on the upper frame rails on both sides and he fixed them. Looks factory now...

Chance the only thing we did off of Walsh is the front brace. We wrap the upper rail farther than most other because most of the frames are breaking in front of the area they are gusseting.

ok I see that you are wraping the frame rail... what thickness of metal are you using?

ive seen people wrap the top frame rail with a 1in inner diamater steel tube that is 1/8 in thick. in the walsh kit, the steel they use is an 1/8 in thick.
