Ok I decided to buy front and rear hiper rims for the 450, I see the rear rims come in 9x9 or 8x8. Now I race XC, so which size would be best?

most 20inch and 22inch tires work with the 9 inch rims and 8x8 are usually for 18inch tires. i would go with the 9x9 you obviusly dont want 18s in the trails

Obviously your going to want the tallest tire for XC sense those ruts get pretty nasty.
I rode my 18s in the woods once and got high centered on a stick

You probably want the 9x9 with 20 or 22 in. tires
