Need help!!! Opinions or suggestions about 300 Big Bore???

I am currently doing a ground up 250r winter project and need some help with my motor!! I have an 86 bottom end with 86 crank, and a 300 pro-x niks cylinder topend with coolhead and port work done by hammers racing in bloomsburg, PA. I just had new carbon fiber reeds put in and had the cylinder freshly bored and honed. (on its third bore) Also had all new gaskets installed and bottom end checked for any problems. What else should i do to the motor to make sure that it is ready to go for the spring??? Any other things that should be checked, replaced, etc????
