How long is the shock you use for cr500 linkage
Posted by: tholt
The shock is aroud 18 or 18 and half inches. Most no-link setups are the same length except some of the no-link setups that pep does is only 17 inches.

Thanks what is the year off cr 500 linkage that laeger uses?
and do i have to modify the lowe frame mount ?

you cant use a cr500 link on a stock chassis you can only use it on a frame made for it

yep, you have to have a frame and swinger set up for no-link.

he meens frame an swinger setup for cr500 link. i dont think its worth the hassle of converting a stock frame though. either get an aftermarket frame or if u wanna keep the stock frame u can get a no link swinger from roll design an possibly other to use a no link setup with stock frame. even most no link setups require the shock mount on the frame to be moved though.

yeah I am building my own swing arm and debating on which to go with a cr500 link or a no link rear end almost a copy of a jrd that uses a stock 250r shock mount.
I would rather the cr 500 link but laeger frames are no longer availble an out off my budget anyways.
