Is there way to mount EX fubs on 86 250r spindels?
I want to do away with the ugly 86 hubs.

nope, get a set of lsr 250r hubs, durablue hubs, baldwin hubs, that all I can think of. Or even better, buy a set of hyper beadlocks with intergrated hubs.

if your gonna get ride of the hubs get rid of the spindles too, i would say ex spindles and hubs is the way to go, if u have extra money go with aftermaket hubs with ex spindles.

I was thinking rears hubs, sorry. you can use 450r spindles and such on a 400ex also, as well as a r. I think complete a 450r setup is about $250. baldwin, lsr, and others sell aftermarket front hubs, lsr makes them for 86/87 spindles last time I looked, that may be your best route. If you are gonna change your spindles and such get a complete 450r setup, cheaper and you get the better brakes on the 450r. to use 250r brakes on 400ex calipers you need $200 adapters.
