i feel kinda stupid askin this but oh well. i saw a carbon fiber hood for a 400 on ebay and im wonderin what ya gotta do to put it on?

U have to shave/cut your plasticsto it the hood, and then create your own form of a mounthing method. I even sceen hoods set ontop of origanal plastics, But as for most 4-wheeler, such as 250r's,300ex,250x,450r's, They all have stock hoods on them!

on a 400EX you have to take out the headlights and cut the plastic that goes over them. Then mount it to the origional plastic. Mine is held on with zip ties.

if the hood ur gonna buy is a dixo, don't use the plastic rivet things that come with it, cause they don't really do that good of a job. just get some cool lookin stainless bolts
