I ride a 2005 yfz450 with ARS/FX CC A-ARMS and AXIS Triple rated shocks, and race hare-scramble. My question is, are the Axis triple rate to stiff for CC? or should I be riding dual rate?

But you should know if its to stiff or not if you have rode it at all. I'm sure wiht that setup it should ride awesome.

If they are valved for your weight and for Xc, then they should ride real nice.

tripple rate should be smoother then dual rate
